moodletxt v2.3 released!

The new plugin can be downloaded from http://www.moodletxt.co.uk/download.php. This new release adds address books to moodletxt, giving users the ability to send SMS messages to contacts outside the Moodle system. moodletxt 2.3 has been released. This major release adds address books to moodletxt, and features speed enhancements and user interface updates.

Edutxt Building Block Oracle V2 released

The new package can be downloaded from www.blackboardtxt.co.uk/download.php. This version includes course and user management, message credit management, a backup email sent with every SMS, enhanced message filtering management and support for multiple txttools (gatekeeper) accounts. Installation instructions are available from within either the zip or tar.gz archive. Edutxt Building Block MS SQL Server v2 will be released in the near future.

Each year the Consortium for School Networking (CoSN) holds the premier national technology leadership conference, dedicated to policy and effective implementation from school district, state, and national perspectives. The conference attracts over 1,000 district, state, and national education technology leaders.

In addition Steve Sidaway, Marketing Director is running two workshops showing examples of how edutxt is being used in Europe and how it can be utilised in U.S. Schools. The presentation will be available to txttool’s customers from their home page shortly.
