Debbie Frank one of the world’s most renowned astrologers has launched a discreet personal horoscope service

10th December
London, UK

Debbie Frank today announced the launch of a new service: ‘star txt’, which uses modern day technology to deliver her horoscopes direct to individual personal phones. ‘star txt’ is currently available on ‘mailshop’, the Daily Mail’s e-commerce shopping site and costs as little as £10 for a full month’s horoscopes.

Users can start the day with a personal horoscope message sent direct to their mobile phone from Femail’s resident astrologer. With this great new service Debbie will send a personal horoscope reading each day by text message straight to their mobile. The user simply selects their star sign, the date they’d like the horoscope to begin, the duration they would like the service to last (from 1 month to 1 year) and the mobile telephone number they would like the service to be sent to. Users can opt in for themselves or ‘star txt’ makes an ideal gift for a loved one.

“This is an exciting new service for me – I feel that your mobile phone is very personal and text messaging is a great way to discreetly deliver horoscopes to individual mobile phones. I am very happy with the early reception that ‘star txt’ has received and we already have syndication interest from other publications” commented Debbie.

The technical aspect of the service is made possible by txttools, a UK text messaging company that has developed innovative and flexible software enabling straightforward delivery of content for media owners, writers and those with a special message to impart.

About Debbie Frank
Debbie Frank is one of the world’s most renowned astrologers and the woman in whom Princess Diana confided through the last eight traumatic years of her life. The princess first contacted her in 1989 for guidance over her unhappy marriage. Like many of Debbie’s clients, Diana was impressed by her approach, which uses astrology as a tool for understanding life rather than as a way of making predictions. The pair became firm friends and Diana consulted Debbie frequently up until the time of her death.

‘When Diana died it was like losing a friend,’ says Debbie. ‘It started out as another relationship with a client, but it became much more. When I think of all the people who came and went out of Diana’s life, I was with her constantly. The level of trust was phenomenal.’

Born in the Middle East to British parents, Debbie, a Scorpio, came to live in Britain when she was three and was brought up in Oxfordshire. After graduating from Nottingham University with a degree in American Studies she set up her own public relations company. At this time she also fulfilled her ambition to begin studying astrology, a subject which had fascinated her since childhood. She obtained a diploma from London’s prestigious Faculty of Astrological Studies before continuing her studies at the city’s Centre for Psychological Astrology. She also went on to study psychosynthesis counseling, a discipline she describes as ‘psychology with a soul’. Two years later, in 1985, she took her first professional client and immediately began to build up a wealth of customers.

Debbie has since written the hugely successful book Debbie Frank’s Birthsigns. She starred in the BBC series A Date with Fate and has had regular slots on both Talk and Liberty radio stations. She has also had columns in a host of national newspapers and magazines. Her other well-known clients include Dale Winton, Philippa Forrester, Anthea Turner and Barbara Windsor. Debbie lives in a converted coach house in Barnes, south-west London, with her Labrador Oliver, a Libran.
